For its 30th Anniversary, Retro Jordan will be celebrating the Air Jordan 4 by releasing a new and original retro colorways. One of those newer pairs scheduled to kick off 2019 is the Air Jordan 4 SE Black Gum iteration. This new colorway of the Jordan 4 features an all-black leather upper that has then been hit with laser graphics all throughout. The rest of the upper has been done in black with the exception of the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, which are left white, and the “Flight” branding on the tongue that comes in red. A white midsole and gum rubber outsole finish off the look.
In the illustrious history of the Air Jordan 4 one of its most revered aesthetics is inarguably “Laser”. Dressing up the 1989 original model three separate times in its history – one in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary – the all-over pattern seamlessly fits along the upper of the mesh-infused model. Red hits are seen on the “Flight” of the tongue and Jumpman logo on the outsole, while having White Jumpman logos on the tongue label and heel. Now, in honor of another celebratory campaign – the 30th for the AJ4 – Laser is back once again, in black on black on its upper with a contrasting white midsole unit and a classic gum bottom outsole.
New Air Jordans 2019 will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 4 in 2019. This Air Jordan 4 features a White leather upper with Black detailing, splash designed graphics on the plastic wing tabs and midsole. Crimson accents highlights the tongue trim and rubber outsole. One of the pairs that will be kicking off the celebration is an upcoming “Pale Citron” iteration. Dressed in a White, Black, Light Crimson and Pale Citron color scheme.
