Los Angeles-based sneaker/streetwear boutique, Union, joined forces for a second time with Jordan brand to drop the Air Jordan 4 Union Guava Ice. Similar to 2018’s unique construction, the product of this second partnership isn’t immune to creative design.The Air Jordan 4 Union Guava Ice features many new elements never before seen on the silhouette. The most notable addition comes in the form of a foldable nylon tongue, showing off the “Air Jordan” logo traditionally stitched on the tongue’s backside. From there, hits of Guava, Fusion Red, and Brigade Blue make this Air Jordan 4 one of the more colorful releases for the model.
Nike SB and Ben & Jerry’s joined forces to add a new animated release to SB history with the Nike SB Dunk Low Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Dunky, now available on StockX. Drawing inspiration from Ben & Jerry’s colorful ice cream pint packaging, this release goes beyond a simple new colorway and features unique detailing that has never been used on the Dunk Low silhouette.This Nike SB Dunk Low is composed of a cloudy blue sky and green meadow leather upper with faux cowhide on the overlays and tongues. Yellow Swooshes on the side resemble melting ice cream with leather protruding the standard pattern in a drip-like fashion. Tie-dye interiors, Ben & Jerry’s style Nike branding on the heel tab, and a white and green sole completes the design.
The Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low Orange Bear features a fuzzy orange faux-fur upper with suede overlays and a jagged Swoosh to represent the stylization of the bear’s chest fur. A hidden stash pocket is featured inside the tongue that is perfect for extra storage. An orange midsole, bright green outsole, and signature Grateful Dead branding on the tongue complete this euphoric design. this Nike SB Dunk Low pays homage to the Grateful Dead Bears, a series of stylized dancing bears illustrated by Bob Thomas on the back cover of the album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice) in 1973.
