This Air Jordan 12 GS is a gradeschool-only release that comes dressed in a mixture of White, Metallic Gold and University Blue color scheme. The shoe has similarities to those Air Jordan 12s from back in 2004 that were dubbed, “Melo” as a nod to the Denver Nuggets colors and came in both a men’s and women’s version with Metallic Silver accents on the eyelets.

The Air Jordan 12 was released in 1996, when the Air Jordan brand became an official Nike subsidiary. Tinker Hatfield designed the new model of MJ’s signature line producing a very sturdy and durable Basketball shoe, inspired by the “Rising Sun” of Japan. The most memorable Air Jordan 12 is the black and red colorway, which Michael wore during the NBA Finals in 1997 while having the flu.
