Inspired by two classic Bruce Lee films. This Nike Kobe 5 Protro Bruce Lee sports the iconic Black and Yellow upper paying homage to the one-piece jumpsuit that Lee wore in “Game of Death,” while the Red scratch marks on the lateral side nod to the final fight scene from “Enter the Dragon.”Touches of red appear on both the heel and forefoot, the latter of which features four red slash marks for a clever nod to the injuries Lee sustained during the course of the movie. On the other hand, the “Bruce Lee Alternate” uses a white and black color scheme with just a pop of yellow on the heel and red trim around the midfoot Swoosh. Red slashes remain on the forefoot, and both styles feature silver sheath logos on the tongues.
The Nike KD 11 EP Oreo comes dressed in a black and white colorway, taking inspiration from the two-time NBA champion’s affinity for comfort away from the court. It’s hybrid construction is a combination of React foam and a full-length Zoom Air midsole with taller-than-average cushioning housed by a translucent rubber cup sole. Other details include a Flyknit upper in grey and black with matching laces, a sock-like ankle collar, and heel branding.
What makes this Nike LeBron 15 Just Do It so special is Nike’s famous “Just Do It” slogan is embroidered on the back of both heels. As a final added touch, the names of James’ children (Bronny for LeBron Jr., Bryce, Zhuri), wife (Savannah), and mother (Gloria) — next to the hashtag #JamesGang — have been personally handwritten on the midsoles. Rumored to be part of Nike‘s upcoming “Just Do It” pack to mark the campaign’s 30th anniversary, look for this pair to hit the shelves soon. LeBron’s 15th signature shoe, designed by Jason Petrie, features a next-generation Flyknit Battle construction and an advanced cushioning system that combines Max Air and Zoom Air units. The shoe also follows the recent trend of employing a full bootie construction to offer a secure and snug fit.
