Dynamic Yellow Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 2019
Come as no surprise, New Air Jordans 2019 has another new Air Jordan 1 scheduled to release later this summer. This release continues the “Black Toe” theme highlighted with vibrant Yellow and unfinished Swoosh stitching logos. Dressed in a White, Black, University Red, and Dynamic Yellow color scheme. Additional details includes “Nike Air” branding and Red stitching throughout.
This Air Jordan 1 was originally spotted on the feet of Nike SB team rider Theotis Beasley that comes in a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme. It features a White leather toe box and side panels with Purple trimming along the toe, eyelets and heel, and Yellow on the Swoosh logos and collar. Much like previous Nike SB releases, this one will have a wear away design that looks to have a Chicago-like scheme underneath.
Retro Jordan, I had an opportunity to go to Nike HQ last year and they had the Airships strategically placed on top of a shelf full of original Air Jordan 1s. They know the correlation between the two, but in typical Nike/Jordan Brand fashion, they’re not going to give us what we want… At least not for now. Ever since then, die-hard sneaker collectors like JumpmanBostic and MJO23DAN have been pleading with Nike and Jordan Brand to release this shoe and tell the story behind. And so far, NOTHING. Not a thing from either brand. It’s gotten to the point where MJO23DAN has literally started a petition to get Nike and Jordan Brand to release Airship.
