Inspired by traditional Japanese embroidery, the Nike Air Force 1 Sashiko emerges with a patchwork-style upper in place of the usual leather build. The classic basketball silhouette includes a paneled construction on the upper, incorporating a navy woven checkboard pattern, white and black knit and white suede on the eyestay, heel patch and Swoosh branding. The heel patch and lace deubré add gold Japanese characters to the look, with further characters visible through the translucent rubber outsole underfoot.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Light Smoke Grey has to be one of the most fire colourways of this iconic silhouette this season, there’s no doubt this sneaker is a must-cop!the shoe is painted in the same gray and white palette as the Dior version, and is made of various high-quality leathers with a soft and smooth feel. The outer and inner Swoosh brands play an important role, while the iconic winged basketball pattern is beautifully embossed on the ankle. Moving down, you will find the Air midsole made for the street and the court, and then lined with a complementary gray rubber outsole underneath, finally confirming the ultra-clean design.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid is hands-down one of the Jumpman’s most divisive models. While it’s simply a 3/4 cut version of the more beloved Air Jordan 1 High, the silhouette is still commonly looked down upon. For instance, back in October of 2019, the Jumpman introduced the “FEARLESS ONES,” a collection that enlisted the help of labels like FACETASM, Melody Ehsani, and many others to turn the Air Jordan 1 Mid into something as covetable as its taller counterpart’s own offerings.
