This Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a Black, White, and Varsity Red color combination. Currently, images have yet to leak. However, due to the color scheme, they will likely resemble a Chicago colorway. This Air Jordan 1 features a full patent leather upper in Black and Red with signature “Nike Air” branded tongues and Wings ankle logo. A White midsole atop a Red rubber outsole completes the design. It’s an idea we’d thrown around in the Concept Lab a few years back, and it was welcomed with warm reception — but a concept is different from reality, and just how the market will respond remains to be seen for now.
Jordan Release 2020, When the “Chicago” Air Jordan 1 returns, more than likely, it will come in the 85 High form and not the Retro High OG. This, of course, will give fans a truly original pair. Now, what we think this pair could be, is the “Bloodline 3.0.” For the 2021 holiday season, Jordan Brand will be releasing a patent leather version of the beloved “Bred” Air Jordan 1. Finally, the model will flaunt the signature “Nike Air” branded tongues and Wings logo across its ankle, while a white midsole and red rubber outsole tops off the design.
Shop Air Jordan Basketball Shoes will debut another Air Jordan 1 High OG later this year, which will come highlighted in “Varsity Red.” Since the pair features a similar color theme, many are stating that this will be the return of the “Chicago.” However, it’s unlikely. Next, we have the standard Nike Air branding on the tongue and the Wings logo on the ankle. Lastly, a White midsole and a Red rubber outsole finish the look. We can only speculate, but due to the description, they will come with Black throughout along with White and Varsity Red detailing. What we can expect from this pair is Nike Air branding on the tongue. Patent leather has always been a contentious material; the crease factor and the high-gloss are divisive on the most basic GR release, so it will be interesting to see how the reaction is on an OG-inspired release.
