Buy The Sneaker, Third time’s the charm for Swarovski, having previously released two glistening takes on the AM97 with its crystal-encrusted uppers. First was a sparkly “Silver Bullet” OG colourway in 2017, then the luxe concept was revisited the following year on the other “Metallic Gold” catalogue edition. The color blocking and details remain the same as the aforementioned “Silver Bullet” pair, but swaps the red accents and branding with a Polar Blue shade. Everything else, from the metallic upper to the white segments of the outsole remain the same, which should appease fans of the OG look.
Jordan Release 2020, The new AM97 “Polar Blue” iteration features a “Metallic Silver” upper meticulously dressed in Swarovski crystals. Elevating the sneaker’s overall look are mini blue Swoosh insignias on the mudguard, a fresh white midsole, a transparent Air Max unit, and a black rubber outsole. However, this new collaboration between Swarovski and Nike on the Air Max 97 literally outshines every other sneaker in its vicinity. Elsewhere, miniature Swooshes then finish in blue along the profile, tongue, and outsole. The packaging’s been changed as well, with a match Polar Blue slide-out box and dustbags included.
Given that many of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 colorways have been starting to look all too familiar to its predecessors, it is quite refreshing to see the mainstay silhouette receive a constructional modification. At first glance, the sneaker may seem a bit plain at first due to the nature of its base layers primarily being done up in cream white. The YEEZY BOOST 350 V2features an upper composed of re-engineered Primeknit. The post-dyed monofilament side stripe is woven into the upper. Reflective threads are woven into the laces. The midsole utilizes adidas’ innovative BOOST™ technology. The upper, which is made entirely of Primeknit, gets a sock-like entry with integrated tongue and simple lacing. Particularly ingenious is the sole, which looks like an air cushion and of course consists of the well-known Boost technology.
