2020 Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” Arrive On May 26th

The soles are reminiscent of the green hillsides seen on the ice cream packaging, and the cows dance in front of the hillsides. The leather overlay of the shoe is decorated with a furry artificial cow print, followed by puffy clouds and the Nike logo in Ben & Jerry ’s font, and colored tie-dye patterns on the lining and insole. Ben & Jerry ’s iconic gold is used on the Nike Swoosh, and the effect of melting and dripping adds icing to the shoes.
Dubbed “Chunky Dunky,” Air Max 270 Nike SB Dunk Low sports bright colors that draw inspiration from Ben & Jerry’s packaging with a cloudy blue sky underlay and faux fur used on the cow overlays and tongues. The Swoosh logos on the sides represent melting ice cream completed with branded tongues atop a White midsole and Green rubber outsole.

Releasing just in time for Summer 2020, this deliciously good flavor of the Dunk is a refreshing treat for purveyors of the classic model and fans of the Vermont-based Ben & Jerry’s. The nickname and design of the “Chunky Dunky” are both inspired by the “Chunky Monkey” ice cream flavor. The cloud-shaped mid-panel is reminiscent of the ice cream carton’s design. A drippy yellow Swoosh covers the mid-panel and fuzzy cow print overlays on the forefoot and heel are a tongue-in-cheek nod to the key ingredient of ice cream: milk. Yellow embroidered Nike branding dots the heel and a co-branded tongue with “Chunky Dunky” detailing adds a unique touch to the shoe. The look is finished off with tie-dye lining and a white midsole with a contrasting green outsole.
