The Air Jordan 3 debuted in 1988 and changed MJ’s mind, who was ready to leave Nike. The winged logo had gone and the Jumpman was born, which is one of the most popular logos worldwide up to now. The Air Jordan 3 featured elephant-print leather in the heel and toe area and a transparent heel counter with a NIKE AIR logo on it. The new Air Jordan 3 was one of Mike’s favourite shoes so he wore it on the 1988 Dunk Championship as well as on numerous other events troughout his memorable career.
